Welcome reader! Just Thoughts is for modern-day leaders who want to think better about business, Leadership, and entrepreneurship. This article's Content is “handwritten” (highlighted when not) and co-piloted with Grammarly’s spell-checking and rephrasing for tone of voice. I’m dyslexic, so the tool helps me overcome my impediments.
The first rule of reading these thoughts is to ask yourself:
Why should I think this way?
Yesterday, I visited the Book & Food Fair in Helsinki, which is Going on until Tomorrow. I brought my last copy of the first batch of my self-published book, “Answers to Love, Life, and Leadership in an AI-driven World.”
I wasn’t presenting myself, nor was anyone there to discuss my book, but luckily, we now have tools like NotebookLM that can augment capabilities. I haven’t yet gotten access to Google's similar tool, “Illuminate,” which is meant specifically for books. However, here’s a briefing document accompanied by the audio file in this publication, courtesy of NotebookLM automation.
Briefing Doc: Answers to Love, Life, and Leadership - in an AI-driven world
Main Themes:
Human vs. AI Creativity: The book explores the differences and similarities between human-written poetry and AI-generated poetry based on the author's style. It raises questions about the value of art created by humans versus machines and how our perception of art changes when we know its origin.
Love, Life, and Leadership in an AI-Driven World: The poems and the author's reflections delve into how AI is impacting our understanding of love, the way we live our lives, and the nature of Leadership.
The Essence of Being Human: Through themes of self-discovery, vulnerability, and authentic living, the book emphasizes the importance of staying true to oneself in an increasingly technological world.
Most Important Ideas/Facts:
The book features paired poems: One poem in each pair is written by the author, Nicolas Dolenc, and the other is generated by OpenAI's GPT, trained on Dolenc's style. This allows readers to compare and contrast human and AI creativity.
Dolenc's poems are deeply personal: Written during a period of transition and emotional turmoil, they reflect genuine feelings about love, loss, and self-discovery.
The book challenges readers to consider:Can AI truly replicate human creativity and emotion in art?
How does knowing the origin of art impact our perception of its value?
How is AI shaping our understanding of love, life, and Leadership?
Key takeaway: Embrace authenticity and human connection in an AI-driven world. AI can be a tool to enhance our lives, but it should not replace our essential human qualities.
Key Quotes:
On the value of human-created art: "What is my point in writing poems if a machine can produce the same in seconds?"
On the impact of AI on love: "When it comes to love...AI can create lifelike profiles of people online. We must also acknowledge that this technology also allows us to cope with grief in very different manners where people can “stay” as part of their lives even when they are gone."
On the power of being yourself: "Leadership is not a thing. It’s a feeling awoken in others when you are you, doing things that bring you joy and are important to you. So just stop trying and start being."
On the essence of Leadership: "Leadership is measured by legacy. The way history remembers you when you are dust, and simply a memory."
On the importance of time: "AI is best used to create more time for you to do the things you love and spend with the people and things that are important to you."
Structure:
The book is divided into three sections: Love, Life, and Leadership. Each section features a collection of paired poems, inviting readers to compare the human and AI-generated versions. The book concludes with reflections by the author on the main themes and questions raised.
Call to Action:
The book encourages readers to engage in a dialogue about the role of AI in art, love, life, and Leadership. It challenges us to embrace our humanity and consider the ethical implications of increasingly sophisticated AI technology.

Just Culture
For readers who haven’t realized it, Just Culture is a separate section in the Just Thoughts publication. You need to subscribe to it separately, as the topics are not within the publication's main audience focus. Just Culture sporadically offers Thoughts about movies, series, culinary experiences, and other entertainment content.
The book exists at the intersection of Just Thoughts and Just Culture, covering art as much as Leadership. However, the AI within the Art project was definitely within the sphere of Culture. I haven’t been able to cover culinary experiences yet, but the book fair also included the food fair. Hence, here’s the first few Just Thoughts About Food
This is a Japanese street food dish with moving “fins,” which was a new experience, although the dish is generally a bit doughy. Throwing in different ingredients doesn’t make the flavors any stronger or the dish different by changing the filling. Okay, but I still stick to sushi when I quickly choose “Japanese,” as this dish is not tasty if it gets cold.
I also tried a Portuguese sandwich and a risotto. The former was okay, and the risotto was a disgrace for being a 12€ dish. I feel I should’ve tried the pasta, a burger, or the pizza at the fair instead of trying to find something “special.”
For being a food fair, I’m disappointed. Flow Festival (covered in Just Thoughts #25) has a better culinary experience than the food fair. However, it doesn’t have the chefs competing for awards, and it doesn’t have the same amount of fine wines, which saves the show.

Thank you for reading this special edition of Just Thoughts! Let me know what you think of the podcast episode!
I think it was brilliant, except that I didn’t tie the Sorites paradox to love, just leadership and art. The interpretation isn’t that bad. We can work with it.
