Just Thoughts #18: Angels telling you entrepreneurs can solve everything
This week I reflect over the most radically positive content I've covered in a while.
The content in this article is “handwritten” and only co-piloted with Grammarly’s spell-checking and re-phrasing for the desired tone of voice. I’m dyslectic, so using it removes my cognitive impediments.

Reading these thoughts, you are either inspired or not. The first rule of reading these thoughts is asking yourself: Why should I think this way?
The highlight of the week: AI within Art was a success ⭐️
I can rage about what we achieved with Ai within Art in this week's edition of Just Thoughts, but I'm writing a long piece that covers everything to be published separately—hopefully, later this week. In case you're wondering, we had 300+ attendees, with 222 people going through our guessing form. The local cultural influencers were kind enough to invite us to do a follow-up in August. Nonetheless, I feel tired walking this entrepreneurial journey.
I've reached this point multiple times and want to give up. It's the point where you want to hide in your bed and not get up. The time you know precisely why you do things but find zero reasons to keep doing it. Let someone else fight, let someone else do it, and for me, enough white arrogant males are enforcing their worldviews upon others. I do not need to be yet another one.
Then, for some reason, I do not know. I still do it at the cost of my health and those closest to me, but at least I can do it differently—to be a different role model. In contrast, I ask myself, why does that even matter? Why couldn't someone else be that? Why can't I just point to others for you to look up to? I'm privileged beyond measure as it is.
Nonetheless, overcoming the moments of doubt has never been about removing them; it's been about surviving them. That is why I write. I write to remember. I want to remember why it mattered to me and others because I know that someday, someone, somewhere, may find inspiration when they need it. I found inspiration in the writings of others over the years.
When I'm at my lowest, I start listening to talks others look up to—those who have mastered the craft or managed success in their own right. That led me to this week's content and another series of thoughts.
This week I go through some thoughts from entrepreneurial heawy hitters and feature talks from Steve Jurvetson, Vinod Koshla and the Startup ministers. I also reflect over racism and the challenges not discussed, as the entrepreneurial scene is biased to think all systematic issues in society are solvable with the help of entrepreneurship.

Nvidia is all the rage.
Over the past month, Nvidia has become the most valuable company in the world, surpassing all others by a landslide. The simplest way I've seen someone describe "why" is, "When everyone is digging for gold, sell shovels." I can't help but think back to days at Slush when you saw the rise of startups talking about AI within their business from less than 10% to over 40% between 2015 and 2017. You saw it happening, and we had Steve Juvertson on stage in 2016 predicting what is happening with ridiculous accuracy by stating exactly how many years it will take, structured in a well-argued way. You can find his talk on YouTube here.
