Just Poem’s brings you poems weekly!
This exercise extrapolates the work started in the AI within Art project and builds upon the idea in the book Answers to Love, Life, and Leadership in an AI-driven World. Version 0.5 of the book only included poems written by a human.
Some scribbles from the archives summarize love, family, and friendship in four phrases. Looking at these, I can’t find ways to outline a decade of emotions more clearly than this. Let’s see if AI can do better.
They say the effects of any emotion will last no longer than approximately 90 seconds...Why, after one kiss and all this time, do my hands still burn like you're right next to me...
Friends are the family you choose. Family is something you never lose.
Chat G PoeT produced the following three poems. Here’s the thread.
Love
Love, like sunlight breaking dawn, Warms the soul, though shadows are drawn.
A silent gaze, a gentle touch, Speaks more than words, yet says so much.
Thoughts: The second line is perfect, the first is crap.
Friendship
Friendship blooms in quiet ways, A bond that time or distance sways.
Through every storm or fleeting cheer, A hand to hold, forever near.
Thoughts: Subpar. The first line seems to miss the word “never” between “distance” and “sways.” The second is usable; one can relate. I may steal that one.
Family
Family roots run deep and wide, A sheltering tree where hearts reside.
Through joy and sorrow, near or far, Their love remains our guiding star.
Thoughts: One would hope one could feel this way about family and that our family could feel this way about us. However, it may be a very narrow description of the family.
Which one did you like?
