Just Poem’s brings you poems in a timely and untimely fashion!
This exercise extrapolates the work started in the AI within Art project and builds upon the idea in the book Answers to Love, Life, and Leadership in an AI-driven World. Version 0.5 of the book only included poems written by a human.
The following poem appeared in the poetry collection mentioned above. I feel it’s one of the better ones. Dax, whose album is titled the same, has inspired it. Dax is a self-published rap artist who pawed his way to success on YouTube with his seemingly unlimited amount of bars and the ability to switch flows as easily as shifting gears on a car with an automatic gearbox makes him a master of his craft.
Most of his rhymes tell stories about greatness, skill, or melancholy, but this song, with a positive outlook and self-belief, remains one of my favorites, regardless of who you are.
Without further background, here’s the poem.
Pain Paints Paintings
Pain Paints Paintings
Fear Freezes the Free
Hate Hardens Hearts
Happiness Hugs Huggers
Sadness Saves Saviours.
Love Looses Lovers.
Emotions lead to actions that affect or create something real. That's what makes life beautiful, even if it sometimes feels surreal.
This poem's structure, which is what makes it great, makes it almost impossible to translate into any other language. Nonetheless, let’s try to convert this to Swedish with the help of Chat G PoeT, prompting it to stick to preserving meaning over making the words rhyme and starting with the same letter.
Think this was a good poem? If so, hit the “heart,” and please share it!
