First RadicL Publication
Dwelled into the real of media for a while and concluded the best way to discover is to practice; When wanting to launch a book project were do you go?
In the startup scene, you have a lot of accelerator programs, incubators, and other similar ones. However, where do you go if you want to launch something with no code and no “physical product”?
You have publishing houses for books, and for planned projects, you may seek grants from foundations. However, if you want to launch a “media project” and get help, could someone please name a program?
In search of answers, we found two sources and formed a few notions—Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula and Alex Hormozi’s writing. Jeff Walkers has been helping individuals launch products and businesses since the beginning of the internet bubble. Alex Hormozi has risen to success by creating playbooks to generate unmatched sales.
As someone who’s followed the startup scene and its teaching, there is an uneven emphasis on product over sales. Additionally, there is an underappreciation of the value of achieving the attention of a crowd. In a world where time is the most valuable resource, capturing the undivided attention of a fully engaged audience has tremendous value. Combining Alex’s and Jeff's teachings can teach you how to do the above at scale.
The notions formed are;
1. To get from zero to 1, you need to launch.
2. Launching in itself is an art that has been codified.
3. Launching at its best is an event, something the audience feels they can be a part of and be “bigger than itself.”
4. Every publishing platform is wired towards “community building” because the end goal of every launch is not only to sell the product. It should be about building a community —> The revenue is a control metric, and the north star is the community.
